We invite you to share your insights and knowledge with colleagues as a presenter of an educational session at our Summer Leadership Institute.

Submit your session below!

What is Summer Leadership Institute?

This is a full day of engaging professional development designed especially for those that currently hold a leadership position (directors, supervisors, managers, assistant directors), those that aspire to a leadership position (teachers and other professionals), and those that support leaders and leadership (coaches, trainers and consultants) to examine and deepen their knowledge, skills and abilities in topics relevant to leadership.

Sessions will be 1.5 hours in length.

Participants appreciate sessions with practical tips and applications that can be implemented right away, and those that are interactive.

What is this year's theme?

This year's theme is Becoming Our Best Self. Directors, managers, supervisors and administrators carry a heavy load of work and responsibility and are faced with many critical decisions every day. This can be demoralizing, and can lead to stress and even burn out.

The term "self-care" is everywhere these days, and is often connected to purchasing something to make you happier or less stressed. Help us re-frame the conversation and examine ways to recharge, to build or rebuild a life we're not regularly escaping from.

This institute is designed to re-inspire those that need it, to help leaders find inspiration, and to support the skills needed to inspire others.

Topics of interest include:

  • Leadership/Leadership Skills
  • Mentoring
  • Self-Care (Health & Wellness)
  • Training, Coaching & Consulting
  • Other

We are committed to creating a diverse, safe and welcoming space for participants to learn and share. We want to make sure we receive session proposals from the widest audience possible, including from you! All proposals are welcome and will be considered. We will give special attention to those that incorporate the theme of the event.
