The Importance of Connecting

Launching Thursday, July 30, 2020

Early Bird rates available for one week only!

You're invited to the summer's hottest event for current and aspiring leaders in the early childhood and afterschool fields, and we're excited to announce our third annual pre-event for coaches and trainers in both fields.

This year's Summer Leadership Institute theme is The Importance of Connecting. Before the pandemic, directors, managers, supervisors and administrators carried a heavy load of work and responsibility and were faced with many critical decisions every day. The pandemic has exacerbated this heavy load. Many are trying to keep their program doors open, counseling their staff, keeping children and families engaged, working from home and supporting their own families. This is a lot. This is hard because it's hard. But it's made easier when we connect with others.

In addition to a keynote session and a variety of pre-recorded session choices designed specifically with you and leadership in mind, we will also have virtual exhibitors, a digital goodie bag, and are holding two virtual Mingle with MnAEYC-MnSACA events to help you stay connected to others in the field.
