Based on your feedback in a recent survey, we have decided to hold our biggest professional development event - the MnAEYC-MnSACA Annual State Conference - virtually in 2021. Thank you for your input!

Now, we invite you to submit a proposal to present. With the event being virtual, we are eager to reach a larger and more widespread audience at this premier conference for early childhood and afterschool professionals. Keynotes and live workshop sessions will be held on Friday, February 5 and Saturday, February 6, and live and prerecorded sessions will be available for a period of time, yet to be determined.

What are the benefits of presenting?

  • The choice between an honorarium or complimentary registration on the day you present.
  • Opportunity to present at a premier event with hundreds of early childhood and afterschool professionals in attendance.
  • Enhance your credibility and stature in the field.
  • Contribute to your community's expertise.
  • Challenge yourself in a new way.

What type of session are we looking for?

  • Those that present best practices, innovative and evidence-based strategies, research and resources in a variety of topic areas.
  • Participants come from a variety of settings and positions, so we are looking for sessions that can apply to program directors or coordinators or teachers or front-line staff.
  • We are looking in particular for sessions that both early childhood and afterschool professionals can attend, like sessions that look at leadership, anti-bias, inclusion, mentoring, etc.
  • We are committed to creating a diverse, safe, and welcoming space for participants to learn and share. We want to make sure we receive conference session proposals from the widest audience as possible, including from you! All workshop proposals are welcome and will be considered.

Have you never submitted a session before? No problem! We want to hear from you, too.

Submitting a proposal is easy! Simply complete the online proposal form here.
