We know this has been a challenging time for everyone. We thank you for everything you’re doing to serve children and families in your programs. You are the heroes on the frontlines, allowing other essential workers the ability to do their work.

While our physical offices are closed, we are still here to support you!

FREE Child Development Webinar

For the month of April only, registration for our online training, Child Development and the School-Age Child, will be offered for free. This recorded webinar can be watched on your own schedule and at your own pace. The recording will be available through May, but you must sign up in April to receive it at no cost. This training meets the requirement for DHS certification.

Working with school-age children in afterschool programs can be awesome, but can also be challenging with wide ranges of age and development represented. In order to support the children we work with, it is important to understand the stages of their growth and development. Explore characteristics of school-age children, theories of growth & development, brain development, the effects of stress, practical application and activity planning.

We're In This Together

We're prioritizing our efforts and resources to support you and the children and families you serve during this difficult time. We want to continue to be your voice with policymakers ensuring they understand what it's like for you to be on the frontlines & what it means when a program has to close, and be your information connector during this quickly evolving time ensuring you have the resources you need.

We understand you're already being asked to do insurmountable things, but if you find yourself in a position to support MnAEYC-MnSACA, please consider making a gift today.

P.S. Did you know that the recent federal stimulus legislation included tax benefits for charitable donations? The legislation raises the cap for taxpayers who itemize deductions and allows non-itemizing taxpayers to deduct up to $300 in donations.
