Every October, individuals from across the nation - and around the world - unite in a campaign to keep all youth safe from bullying. National Bullying Prevention Month was founded in 2006 by PACER's National Bullying Prevention Center, based right here in Minnesota. This initiative has helped shift thinking away from bullying as a "rite of passage," instead acknowledging that bullying can be prevented and stopped through education and awareness.
