Join us and be inspired at this year’s Summer Leadership Institute, (Re)Imagine the Power of You: Inspiring Experienced and Emerging Leaders on Thursday, July 20, 2017 at Normandale Community College.

Register Today!

Our Institute is designed specifically for current and aspiring leaders in both the early childhood and afterschool professions. This is an opportunity for personal and professional renewal and growth, where you will identify strategies to increase your effectiveness, articulate changes needed to enhance focus, commitment, energy, and satisfaction, and learn from your colleagues in the field.

Featured keynote speaker is Tracy Wiese. Tracy will talk about how to live authentically in a complex world. We are bombarded “in the real world” by messages of who we should (and shouldn’t) be, and what we should (and shouldn’t) do. This fun and interactive session will help you put words to your own authenticity, and give you ideas on what to do with your True You!

We also have break-out sessions full of inspiring content to bring back to your program.

Topics include:

  • Training as a Profession
  • Moving Beyond Discipline to Guidance
  • Race and Implicit Bias
  • How Recent Legislative Changes Impact Your Program
  • And Much More!
