To support children’s optimal learning and development, programs need to establish relationships with families based on mutual trust and respect, involve families in their children’s educational growth, and encourage families to fully participate in the program. Relationships with agencies and institutions in the community can help a program achieve its goals and connect families with resources that support children’s healthy development and learning.

In this session, we will explore best practices in in family and community relationships by breaking down the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) Accreditation Standards. Participants will better understand the importance of exercising these best practices in order to build a high-quality early care and education program, and leave with ideas for program implementation.

If you would like to register two or more people for this training, please download the group registration form here, and follow the directions provided.
